Sold to the Pack is the first book in a paranormal reverse harem series. The series centers on Nella White an eighteen years old, who takes care of her little sister and loves books. One day Nella finds herself in a whole new world that is filled with magic and danger.
This book is very short, only seven chapters, so it is a very quick read. I got a basic sense of who Nella is and what her life was like before she found out about magic.
The story was interesting but it didn't really pull me in, I believe that it's because the story was to short for me to get a feeling for it. I would rather they called this a prequel or novella instead of a full-fledged book, I feel that readers really wouldn't know what they were getting by calling it book one.
I have the second book in the series and I am interested in reading it to see what happens after the last seen in Sold to the Pack and I am looking forward to getting to know Nella and this new magical world she finds herself in."

- This story is a novella that continues into the next book so be aware of this when reading it. This story is one of those nightmare kind of stories that some kids have of not belonging to the family they are born into. The author snares the reader into the story and the concept is so interesting that buying the next book can be counted on. It's well worth the time to read but buy the next book too as it will leave the reader wanting the rest of the story.
- I'm a bit speachless right now, and not in a good way. I think I've learned my lesson to read reviews and see how long a book is before I download it. This story was a waste of my time sadly.
The blurb completely Drew me in, but the overall story failed to actually hook me.
AI didn't realize this was a serial series, and if I did, I never would have picked this up. So, with that in mind, I will only review on the story, not on how short this was.
Again, the blurb completely pulled me in and had me interested. I was so curious especially because of the way it started, but once it really started to get interesting, everything changed.
Not to say some parts didn't have me flipping pages excited for more, because that's not the case, but it really became boring in some parts. I was hoping it would pick back up, but as soon as it did, it was over.

Nella is 18 and comes from a family with very dysfunctional parents and is trying to live and keep her sister going but one day stumles and falls and finds herself held prisoner to be auctioned off!
What happens to Nella will follow in subsequent tale/s
A reasonable, if short tale of Nella's experience being sold and I do want to know what happens next!
I received an ARC copy of this and am leavcing this review freely and without reservations - Sold to the Pack by J.S. Moore is a prequel for our entry into the world of Avalon. This story is very short, but PACKED with information, the setup for things to come, and the writing is fantabulous!!!!!
I’ve read COUNTLESS stories, but this one gripped me immediately and I couldn’t stop until I finished!!! The writing is crisp, precise, and immerses the reader into Nellla’s world.
She is living in poverty with her sister and alcoholic parents wondering where their next meal is coming from and what she is going to do with her life. She obsesses about the well-being of her sister. Then, while out running, she experiences something that catapults her, seemingly, into another world!!!
The rest of the story can be gleaned from its title. But, failing to read this incredible prequel by J.S. Moore would be a travesty. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could!!
I voluntarily received an Advance Reader Copy of this book for an honest review. - Nella works in a bookstore to support herself and her 12 year old sister Jenny. Their parents are drunks and do nothing to provide for the 2 girls. When they receive an eviction notice, Nella wonders if she will ever be able to get herself and her sister out of the desperate situation they are in. To make matters worse, she is suffering from dizzy spells and they are getting worse. When she takes a nasty fall while out running behind her apartment one day, she has another dizzy spell that ends up with her being unconscious. She wakes up in a cell with a dirt floor and learns that she is in a land called Avalon and is to be sold at auction. Oh, and apparently she possessing Magick. She is scared of who will buy her until a huge bid is placed by 5 of the most handsome men she has ever seen. This book was short but packed with action and was well worth reading.

How did she get there? Where is Avalon? Why is she there? There is to be an auction and she is one of the prizes! She is bought by five handsome men! Why is there an auction? Why is she being sold? Who are the fairytale creatures she witnesses? Is this real life or is she in a nightmare? This is a novella that starts the series of Nella and the five white wolves that guard Avalon. Discover why Nella is there, where she could possibly come from and why the brothers bought her! I received this book for free and am leaving a voluntary review.
