Ebook Grimorium Verum Joseph H Peterson Books

Grimorium Verum is one of the most notorious handbooks of black magic -- one of the few that deals openly with spirits of darkness. People have long sought the aid of non-physical beings; the biblical king Solomon in particular had a reputation since ancient times for commanding demons. There are many texts purporting to reveal Solomon's methods, but most are extremely complicated and difficult. Grimorium Verum is one of the easier texts, but also one of the most sinister. It includes a catalog of specific demons and how to draw on their powers. This new critical edition includes a fresh translation based on all the major sources, complete French and Italian texts, and 5 other appendices.

"Bought this book after studying "The Three Magical Books of Solomon"... After having read The Three Magical Books, I had read a comment by a person somewhere, talking about this book: Grimorium Verum. They mentioned how this book fills in the cracks of the other easily available Grimoires, and they are right... This book is well written, packed with tons of knowledge and also includes instructions that are explained in great detail. Some of the rituals within this book, I would recommend to read but not perform, such as the drawing of the blood. Other than that, this is a great piece of knowledge! I recommend 10/10 that this be in everyone's library, including "holy students"..."

- Bought this book after studying "The Three Magical Books of Solomon"... - As an occultist I was happy to add it to my personal library at such a great price. A very well researched translations that didn't dumb down the text but still easy to understand for beginners with some ceremonial magick understanding.
- While it's considered a "must read" for those interested in occult, I found it overall lacking as far as actual usage of spells/ceremonial magics go. It has such gems as "how to travel 20 mph" and "how to cure rabies" and calls for things like thread spun by a virgin, killing a goat to make parchment, or "cutting a chicken in half at the crossroads.
If your just looking for an interesting occult book go for it, but it's not actually usable - I need something stronger.
- The author left many notes to help clear up potential confusion, it̢۪s very helpful! Incredibly well put together!
- An interesting book in English which includes Italian and French texts and highlights some differences between the spells from about four different authors. If you are interested in the macabre, this is a great read!
- A ridiculous foray into "the occult". Might be good for 12 year olds who think love spells are real magic
- I've not read the whole thing. But Joseph Peterson has done a TREMENDOUS job of recreating this grimoire from existing incomplete versions in various languages, with very complete explanations and footnotes to every page.
As for the grimoire itself, it stands out! Why?
Well the more popular Lesser key of Soloman, it explains how to really intimidate and threaten the spirits you raise. And so too most comparable grimoires dealing in raising demons!
So, think about this for a moment. Let's say instead of a demon, you were talking to a Mob Boss "Okay Mob Boss, you're going to do as I say or I will damn you and lock you in this small lead box, see?"
How well do you think that would work out? How likely will Mr. Mob Boss cooperate with you?
Not likely I think. And for a similar reason, being mean and threatening to spirits you expect to help you seems dubious as well.
Grimorium Verum stands out for... being assertive and CIVIL with the demons you raise, and being fairly friendly!
Anyone that dabbles in this sort of magic needs to check this book out for ideas!
PS I know many that work with these grimoire's believe it's more a psychological play, Aleister Crowley suggests of the Goetia that the 'demons' map the wild parts of a human consciousness. That said, when I suggest bullying the spirit is a bad idea - even if the spirit is a psychological entity, that I believe bullying could result in non cooperation is enough to MAKE IT SO!
