Rise of the Serpentine Ninjago #3 Greg Farshtey Paul Lee Books Reviews
- I've reviewed books 1 and 2 today and now that I am at three I can only repeat what My other two reviews have stated. This book is AWESOME! It all started out with book 4 when my son got it at the school book fair for way too high a price and he had such an interest that I came here looking for the others advertised in his book and VOILA!! I HIT THE JACKPOT RIGHT HERE!!! The price is so right, the shipping is great and I didn't have to leave the house to go "in search of"..This series of books runs from one right into the other and flow so well and is truly interesting. I'm a mom who reads every night to my sons and my 8 year old loves these so much that he's reading them now to his 4 year old brother and you couldn't ask for a better series for boys to get interested in reading. These build reading skill levels and retain interest and their colorful, well written and my boys are hooked so get yours here and get it now !
- My first grader was a more reluctant reader than his older sister; however, once he discovered the graphic novel genre, he was hooked. What boy doesn't like Legos and ninjas? This series combines the two. I'm a high school English teacher that knows the importance of getting kids hooked on reading while they're young (since few students read by the time they get to me). This series will engage your young reader. (This series caters to male readers, but our third grade daughter has enjoyed them all, too!) My favorite element to these books is that they use a much larger vocabulary than the traditional early readers, so my son is actually ahead of where he is expected to be in reading at school.
- The students love this book. It is never on the shelves. The interest level is K - 5th. Set up like a comic book.
- This series has been awesome for my 6 year old. He still loves picture books, but this story and plot line are on par with older children's chapter books that capture his interest. I even enjoy the ongoing saga of all the ninja and their adventures. Lego really got it right creating this series of books, cartoon series, and lego blocks to create a world my son and daughter LOVE.
- my 9 year old started liking the ninjago toys first, and then after reading the ninjago comics, he grew to like the toys even more! don't know if that's a good thing or not?! ;) the quality of this comic is good though, colorful glossy pages throughout. he gives this book a 4 star, as he said he likes #4 more than this one. but he still likes this book a lot.
- My son loves these books. The regular, thin books are fine, but the novels are even better. Any book that gets my son to read more is getting five stars.
- We ended up returning this book only b/c the library had it, but my son (a big Ninjago fan) loves this book. And the story isn't too scary or violent. So, it works for us.
- I bought this book for my nephew for Christmas. He is really into the whole ninjago thing and he loves to read. He already has a couple of these books and said he would love to have more of them. I know he will enjoy them!
